Acceptance of Terms<\/h2>\n<p>These Terms of Use (&#8220;Terms&#8221;) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (&#8220;User&#8221;) and Beetab (&#8220;we,&#8221; &#8220;us,&#8221; or &#8220;our&#8221;) governing your use of the Beetab Chrome extension and website at beetab.cc. By installing the extension or accessing our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use Beetab.<\/p>\n\n<h2>2. Description of Service<\/h2>\n<p>Beetab is a Google Chrome browser extension that replaces the default new tab page with a customizable productivity dashboard featuring: smart shortcuts, world clocks, daily tasks, weather widget, tape calculator, Stay in Flow cards (Google Calendar, Google Drive, OneDrive), and flexible layout customization.<\/p>\n<p>Beetab is available in two tiers: a <strong>Free tier<\/strong> with core functionality, and a <strong>Pro tier<\/strong> with expanded functionality requiring a paid subscription or lifetime license.<\/p>\n\n<h2>3. Eligibility<\/h2>\n<p>You must be at least 13 years of age to use Beetab. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent. By using Beetab, you represent that you meet these requirements.<\/p>\n\n<h2>4. License Grant<\/h2>\n<p>Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Beetab extension on your personal devices for your own productivity purposes.<\/p>\n<p>This license does not include the right to: copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of Beetab; reverse engineer or decompile the extension; use Beetab for any unauthorized commercial purpose; or transfer your license to another person.<\/p>\n\n<h2>5. Free Tier<\/h2>\n<p>The Free tier includes limited functionality at no cost:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Up to 4 shortcut categories and 8 shortcuts<\/li>\n<li>Up to 3 world clocks<\/li>\n<li>Up to 5 active tasks (24-hour history)<\/li>\n<li>1 weather location<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We reserve the right to modify free tier features at any time with reasonable notice.<\/p>\n\n<h2>6. Pro Subscription and Pricing<\/h2>\n<p>Beetab Pro unlocks all features without limits and is available as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Monthly Subscription:<\/strong> $0.99 USD per month, billed monthly<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lifetime License:<\/strong> $9.99 USD one-time payment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A <strong>7-day free trial<\/strong> is available. No credit card is required to start a trial.<\/p>\n\n<h2>7. Payment Processing by Paddle<\/h2>\n<p>All payments for Beetab Pro are processed by <strong>Paddle.com Market Limited<\/strong> (&#8220;Paddle&#8221;), our authorized reseller. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record, meaning:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your purchase contract is with Paddle, not directly with Beetab<\/li>\n<li>All billing, invoicing, and payment processing is handled by Paddle<\/li>\n<li>Paddle is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable taxes<\/li>\n<li>Paddle&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paddle.com\/legal\/terms\" target=\"_blank\">Terms of Service<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paddle.com\/legal\/privacy\" target=\"_blank\">Privacy Policy<\/a> apply to all transactions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2>8. Refund Policy<\/h2>\n<p>Refunds are subject to Paddle&#8217;s standard refund policy:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Monthly subscriptions:<\/strong> Refund requests accepted within 14 days of initial purchase or renewal charge<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lifetime licenses:<\/strong> Refund requests accepted within 14 days of purchase<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To request a refund, use the link in your purchase confirmation email from Paddle, or visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paddle.com\" target=\"_blank\">paddle.com<\/a>. For further details, see our <a href=\"\/refund-policy\/\">Refund Policy page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<h2>9. Subscription Cancellation<\/h2>\n<p>You may cancel your monthly Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period \u2014 you retain Pro access until then. To cancel, contact us at <a href=\"mailto:support@beetab.cc\">support@beetab.cc<\/a> or use the billing management link in your Paddle confirmation email.<\/p>\n\n<h2>10. Acceptable Use<\/h2>\n<p>You agree not to use Beetab to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Violate any applicable laws or regulations<\/li>\n<li>Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension<\/li>\n<li>Circumvent any licensing or feature restrictions<\/li>\n<li>Share, transfer, or sell your Pro license to other users<\/li>\n<li>Interfere with any connected third-party services (Google, Microsoft)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2>11. Third-Party Services<\/h2>\n<p>Beetab optionally integrates with Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Microsoft OneDrive. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. Beetab is not affiliated with Google LLC or Microsoft Corporation.<\/p>\n\n<h2>12. Intellectual Property<\/h2>\n<p>Beetab and all associated intellectual property, including the extension code, design, logos, and website content, are owned by Beetab or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership rights. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written permission.<\/p>\n\n<h2>13. Disclaimer of Warranties<\/h2>\n<p>BEETAB IS PROVIDED &#8220;AS IS&#8221; AND &#8220;AS AVAILABLE&#8221; WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that Beetab will be uninterrupted or error-free.<\/p>\n\n<h2>14. Limitation of Liability<\/h2>\n<p>TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BEETAB&#8217;S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO BEETAB IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT WILL BEETAB BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.<\/p>\n\n<h2>15. Changes to Terms<\/h2>\n<p>We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be posted on our website with an updated &#8220;Last updated&#8221; date. Continued use of Beetab after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.<\/p>\n\n<h2>16. Termination<\/h2>\n<p>We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Beetab if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your license is revoked.
